HIKING - JAMIL WATERFALL

The Jamil Waterfall and the Poço das Virgens are located in the Serra do Mar State Park – Curucutu Nucleus, in the extreme south of the city in Parelheiros. With its unique beauty, the Polo has an area of 354km², with 62% of the territory covered by the exuberant Atlantic Forest forest, ensuring that springs and various springs are preserved, giving rise to rivers with their wonderful waterfalls, rapids and natural pools of crystal clear water.
TOUR PROGRAMMING:
Pick-up Time: 08:00AM at the Hotel
Arriving at Serra do Mar State Park, we will make our first stop at the old Train Station – Evangelista de Souza, from where we will start our expedition towards Poço das Virgens Lake and Cachoeira do Jamil;
The first stretch of our trail will be in a plateau area on the banks of some streams in the region that will give rise to two imposing and important rivers in the region, the Capivari and Embu-Guaçu Rivers that supply two dams that are part of the water supply system. from the city of São Paulo, part of the coast and metropolitan area, the Billings and Guarapiranga dams;
Our first stop on the walk will be at Poço das Virgens Lake to appreciate the exuberant nature of the place and enjoy a refreshing dip in natural pools and bathing in a waterfall;
We continue our walk crossing streams to the Jamil Saade property, located in a RPPN (Private Reserve of Natural Heritage) where the trail runs along the Mono and Capivari rivers;
The trail's path will include stops at Poço das Antas, Natural Pools, Rapids and Waterfalls, with the Jamil Waterfall as its high point. A simply paradisiacal waterfall, which provides the visitor with a unique opportunity to take beautiful photos and enjoy a refreshing swim in the river in several natural pools and beaches that make up the entire length of the Capivari river;
The tour ends at the RPPN headquarters from where we will return to São Paulo.
